About Galentines
In 2023, my best friend Christina and I approached our gym to host a special Galentines women’s Brazilian jiu-jitsu class to celebrate both the sport and the bonds of friendship. That year, we had 27 attendees, and in 2024, the event grew to nearly 100 participants!
Event Overview
The event includes a structured class, an open mat, and fun amenities like a photo backdrop (think prom-style photos), pink snacks, drinks, a cold plunge, and more. To further increase attendance and make the event accessible to first-timers, we’ll be offering both a beginner-friendly class and an intermediate class, followed by an open mat.
